How are new pupils introduced to the school?
The following methods of communication are used:
- Parents are shown around the school on arrival
- Each family is provided with a school information booklet and school calendar
- Specific Meetings may be held to explain areas to parents, e.g. Reading
- All parents are invited to discuss their child's progress with the class teacher formally in the Autumn term, and informally on an on-going basis
- Weekly newsletter gives information on events and initiatives
- Information is posted on the Parents' Notice Board in the school entrance
